The Village is built on respect rather than rules.
A few unwritten customs will help you feel at home:
- Always respect other people’s privacy.
- Never take photos or videos of other guests without their permission.
- Carry a towel whenever you’re sitting on shared furniture.
- Don’t stare or make others feel uncomfortable, people are here to relax and be their true self.
- If someone says “no,” that’s the end of the conversation. Personal boundaries are always respected.
- If you’re visiting more libertine areas, remember that watching is perfectly acceptable and participation is never expected.
- Keep phone use discreet, especially around the beach and pool areas, where privacy is particularly important.
- In residential buildings, remember that people live here too. Keeping noise to a minimum late at night is always appreciated.
If you arrive with kindness, curiosity and respect, you’ll fit in just fine.
